Time for a Tax Planning Check-in
When’s the last time you had an objective, third-party expert review all your processes and tax planning strategies? If you even have to think about it, it has probably been too long. And while you certainly could be missing out on maximizing opportunities, there’s more to it than that. You could even be breaking the law.
Reviewing Tax Laws
Tax laws aren’t static. Some of the changes are highly publicized, such as the Base Erosion and Profit Shifting Project (highly relevant if you have interests in more than one country), but there are a whole lot of other, smaller changes that might escape your notice.
And even for laws that remain unchanged, a shift in your business (more or less profit, capital expenditures, geographic adjustments, etc.) can open you up to a whole different set of requirements.
If the IRS hasn’t come knocking at your door, you might assume you’re in the clear. But you don’t want to find out too late that you missed something. Audits aren’t fun. Neither are back taxes, fines, and even scarier penalties.
Don’t wait until April to bring in an expert. Make sure you’re doing everything correctly now, to save trouble later. If you need help finding a qualified CPA and/or tax attorney let us know. We know some experts. And once you have everything checked out, we can help you update your processes so you won’t miss a beat.
Less cost. Less payroll. More profits.
